Tomorrow I have to go in for surgery. It's for fixing up my sinuses, they are basically stuffed and have been causing me pain since christmas.
I am really not looking forward to it as it entails general anesthetic and staying overnight at the hospital. It will be the first time I haven't been home for my son and the only time I was away from my daughter was when I was in hospital having my son.
Even though as of yesterday we have a family explosion here, my parents and my brother are here for the week, I am nervous about leaving them and how well I will be able to take care of them in the days after the surgery.
Does anyone have any tips for dealing with my nervousness?

I've had to have a number of surgeries for various reasons. The nerves are always worse than the actual surgery. Even when I had my second c-section I was able to do everything with no help, you will be fine! Hang in there and don't let yourself get too stressed!
